The inspiration for Ilaro

Ilaro was founded out of the desire to design my enviroment in a way that felt connected to how I look at the world, and want to be. This meant getting rid of a whole lot of disposable garbage, and desiging my  livingspace with care. At the time I got the idea to start this business I was actually traveling to Istanbul and Milan where I was struck by the history, art, and culture. that voyage served as my inspiration.Hi there, my name is Julio and I am the founder of Ilaro. Notebooks, journals, planners, manifestos, whatever you call them, matter to me. I grew up without a father, and as a reflective person  I always tried to find out ways that could help me understand who I was, who I wanted to be, and how to get there. Allong that never ending journey I took notes of my favourite books and podcasts, I wrote down my reflections during moments of crises, I planned ahead writing down my future plans and dreams broken down into milestones,  I made to-do lists, and wrote down all my appoitments, and sometimes whilst bored I would attempt to draw circles and strange unrecognizeable objects. It is my sincerest objective to create a brand that helps others grow, and live life on their terms. That you may wake up, and feel genuinely thankful for yet another day to be alive. I don’t believe there is just one road that could get you there, because not eveyone is the same. Yet all roads are made out of cement or dirt, and traveling on wheels makes the road easier to navigate. I hope that Ilaro can be the wheel you take with you on your road, and that it may help you to go further and faster.
